AMAECHI HAS BEEN CONFIRMED AS MINISTER

After a long fight, the battle is over and Rotimi Amaechi, the strong man of Rivers State politics, has defeated the PDP and its Senators again as he has been confirmed as Minister of the Federal of Nigeria. His confirmed happened on Thursday afternoon on the floor of the senate amidst jubilation and protest from both camps at the National Assembly complex. Amaechi is now a confirmed Minister.

The PDP senators led by minority leader Godswill Akpabio have staged a walk out over the furor generated by the confirmation of Amaechi as minister but the APC Senators are not disturbed by the action of Akpabio and his fellow PDP senators.

Some APC leaders told olanre4ront.blogspot.com that if PDP truly have any REAL case of corruption against Amaechi they should have dragged him to court by now. But they are just playing games, trying to stop him because he contributed to their defeat in the last Presidential election.
