Moment Cristiano Ronaldo was slapped by Real Madrid president (photos)

Television cameras caught Real Madrid Florentino Perez waiting for star player Cristiano Ronaldo as he arrived at the stadium with the rest of the players for Tuesday's crucial champions league clash with Paris St Germain. Florentino Perez could be seen asking the forward about a recent interview he gave German magazine Kicker, in which he hinted that he might not stay at the club.

The president gave him a playful slap as he questioned Ronaldo, who looked less than amused and walked away saying: 'What did I say? I never said that. I said it differently,' he said as he made his way to the dressing room.

Ronaldo looked a shadow of himself in the first half and wore a gloomy look in the opening minutes of the game. After the match he was seen whispering into PSG's coach Laurent Blanc's ears with rumours swirling he could join PSG next year or even return to England.

PSG president Nasser El-Khelaifi was interviewed after the match and refused to rule out a move for the three-time Ballon d'Or winner. He said: 'Ronaldo has a contract with Real and we respect that. Negotiations would be in secret but nothing for now.'

An Antonov 12 cargo plane carrying 5 Russian crew and 7 passengers crash-landed near South Sudan’s Juba International airport, very close to White Nile River this morning. South Sudan's aviation authorities say two people including a child survived the crash. A woman and her seven children are said to have perished in the crash. This one happened early this morning around past 6am. Three guys attacked the owner of this car as she descended the bridge to enter Victoria Island (Muson Centre area) on her way to work. They broke the driver and passenger's side glasses, took her phone and her chain. Luckily for her she said she kept her bag in the booth because of similar stories she'd read online.

Many reportedly killed in Edo bank robbery this morning

Many people were killed after armed robbers struck a bank at Igarra, in Akoko-Edo local government area of Edo State this morning. Eyewitnesses say the robbers arrived the bank at about 6am, killed the security guard, carted away with money in the bank before engaging the police in a serious gun battle. Many people were left with bullet wounds after the robbers fired gunshots in the air in a bid to scare the police and residents of the area away. None of the robbers were arrested.
